Las Vegas Wash Regional Trail System

Approximately 15 miles of multi-use trails are available along the Las Vegas Wash Regional Trail System, which includes the Lower Las Vegas Wash and the Upper Las Vegas Wash.

The trail is located primarily off-street, but in some parts is aligned adjacent to roads. The trail consists of a 10-foot wide asphalt path designed to accommodate a variety of users such as walkers, joggers, cyclists, skateboarders, strollers, wheelchairs, etc. The trails are not intended for motorized use or equestrians.

Trail amenities include landscaping, lighting, trash cans, benches, doggie (trash) stations, trail nodes with shaded rest areas and trail heads with shaded picnic areas, drinking fountains and off-street parking.

Aliante Trail System

Aliante is home to 24 miles of developed multi-use trails. The Aliante Trail System consists of concrete pathways with a minimum width of 8 feet and landscaping on both sides. The trails are located adjacent to streets and in drainage areas.

Funding for trail development has been provided by the Bureau of Land Management through the sale of public lands as authorized by the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act.
