The North Las Vegas Small Business Connector is a one-stop hub inside North Las Vegas City Hall for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Our team of professionals help businesses launch and expand, provide loans at subprime rates for business development and growth, and connect job seekers with employers.

North Las Vegas small business owners and entrepreneurs can meet with a variety of partners collaborating on the North Las Vegas Small Business Connector to gain funding, resources and knowledge.

Who can benefit from the SBDC?

    • Current and potential business owners

What does the SBDC do? 

    • Assists small businesses with financial, marketing, production, organization, engineering and technical problems and feasibility studies
    • Provides up-to-date counseling, training and technical assistance in all aspects of small business management
    • Arranges training and educational programs, advisory services, publications, financial programs and contract assistance

North Las Vegas Revolving Loan Fund, (Access Community Capital)

Who can benefit from the North Las Vegas Revolving Loan Fund?

    • Small businesses (50 or fewer employees with $2 million maximum annual revenue)
    • Preference for minority business enterprises, women business enterprises and veteran-owned businesses

What does Access Community Capital do? 

    • Provides 1-year to 3-year loan term on loans between $1,000-$45,000
    • Applicants, if they qualify for a loan, must complete an orientation and ongoing counseling curriculum administered by the SBDC
    • 4-7% interest rate based on underwriting (6% average target)

    • Enables access to a large pool of job seekers who are ready to work

The North Las Vegas Small Business Connector is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is part of the City of North Las Vegas' ongoing efforts to assist workers, families and businesses impacted by the global COVID-19 pandemic through the smart and effective use of federal aid within the community.
