Regular meetings of the Utility Advisory Board are held on the fourth Tuesday of April and October at 6 p.m. in North Las Vegas City Hall.



The Utility Advisory Board serves as an advisory body to the City Council relative to policy and planning for the management, financing and operations of the utilities owned and operated by the City. 

Among the duties of members: 

  • Discuss information relevant to water and wastewater utilities
  • Review major changes to the utility or to customers' rates 
  • Gather information from residents and customers in the City of North Las Vegas service area regarding water and wastewater
  • Promote water conservation and smart water use efforts
  • Amplify City events and efforts related to water, conservation and water/wastewater utilities 


Composition

  • Seven members
  • Five members must be residents of the City of North Las Vegas
  • Two members must be residents of the Sunrise Manor area of Clark County
