COMPANIES THAT HAVE OPENED THEIR DOORS:
- Air Liquide completed the world’s first large-scale liquid hydrogen plant. The $200 million plant on 15 +/- acres at Miner’s Mesa will produce 30 tons of liquid hydrogen per day to fuel 35,000 hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles.
- Kroger Distribution Center will be opening their 988K SF facility.
- Hey Dude/Crocs Distribution Center opened their 1M SF facility.
DEVELOPMENT HAPPENINGS:
- Prologis purchased 879 acres at Apex. The project will spread over several buildings and construction is set to begin within the next two years. This is Prologis’s second largest acquisition in the nation.
- CapRock Partners recently acquired 85 acres for a new 1.48 million square foot industrial development with completion anticipated in 2025.
- Vantage North Industrial Development located in Southern Apex consists of a 350-acre logistics and distribution park. It will be developed in phases and able to accommodate up to 4.6 million square feet. Saddle Creek Logistics is the first tenant, which will occupy 580,000 square feet.
