The Technical Services Division consists of three sections: Utility Design and Construction Management Services, Utility Inspection Services and Public Outreach Services.  The Technical Services Division strives to ensure that the Utilities assets are designed, constructed and inspected to the high City standards to protect the citizens’ investment in the infrastructure for the Potable Water System and the Wastewater Collection system.
 
Utility Design and Construction Management Services provides the engineering design and construction management of the Capital Improvement Projects relating to the utility infrastructure.  Utility Inspection Services provides the line locating service requests for the potable water system and the wastewater collection system; inspection services for the potable water system, the wastewater collection system, and the Capital Improvement Projects relating to utility infrastructure.  The Public Outreach Services provides outreach and educational information to the public on water quality, water conservation, protection of water resources, and other related Utility Department information/programs.
