Police Chief's Advisory Council
PEOPLE COMING TOGETHER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN NORTH
LAS VEGAS
The strength of a Police Department is deeply rooted in
the communities which it serves and the quality of service which is delivered
each day. To achieve community expectations, the North Las Vegas Police
Department strives to continuously evaluate and improve our quality of
public safety. The Police Department meets some of these objectives through
self-regulation, strong agency guidelines, and responsiveness to community
concerns and needs. Another avenue to facilitate community expectations
is through community participation in the Police Department. This can
be achieved through citizen academies, review boards, neighborhood councils
and the Police Chief's Advisory Council.
Due to staffing reductions and changing priorities, the Chief and members of the Advisory Council have temporarily suspended the Chief's Advisory Council. It was agreed upon by all members that meetings can be scheduled if emergent issues arise.
You will still be able to submit questions and receive answers on the Council Forum page regarding the North Las Vegas Community.
