This program is a recreational enrichment program for children, designed
to meet the needs of the working parent. Safekey is staffed by trained
recreation leaders. The program consists of an activity or game period,
sports, arts and crafts, and special events. The Safekey program also operates various camps throughout the school year. This program corresponds with the Clark County School
District calendar.
Note: This program is administered by the City of North Las Vegas Parks
and Recreation Department, your school office may help you with information
but cannot register your child. Check with your individual Safekey
site for specific hours of operation and fees or call the Safekey office
at 633-1608.
Days and Hours of Operation:
Safekey Office, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Grades: K - 5th Grade
Program Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. - After school until 6:00 p.m.
How do I register my child?
Participants may be registered at your child’s school in the Multi-Purpose
room during SAFEKEY program hours. Participation forms must be completed by the parents or guardians before your child can attend the program. SAFEKEY SITES NO LONGER ACCEPT PAYMENTS IN CASH OR CHECK, THEY DO ACCEPT CREDIT CARD AND DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS. Payments in cash or check can be made at the Neighborhood Recreation Center or at Silver Mesa Recreation Center. Credit card and debit card payments can also be made on-line by accessing the CLASS registration link at http://www.cityofnorthlasvegas.com

Late Pick-up

$10.00 every ten minutes, per child |

Financial assistance may be available for parents/guardians that meet income qualifications.
