Fire Department Positions
We will be accepting applications for the Firefighter Paramedic position from September 1 to October 10. All complete applications received by the filing deadline will be reviewed. Those applicants meeting the Minimum Requirements will be invited to participate in a written Firefighter test on Friday, October 17, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Only the most qualified candidates who pass the written test with a minimum score of 90% will be invited to participate in the Medical Knowledge exam on Friday, October 17, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Candidates who successfully pass both exams will be invited to participate in the Firefighter Wellness and Fitness Assessment and the EMT Paramedic Assessment Center to include oral and practical exercises. These assessments will be held on a future date TBD.
